| The 2007 state was small but it had very good young lifters that made a big impression on the older guys. We had a few American records and a lot of state records. American records were set by Josiah Roise, unequipped Bench only, 148 lb HS with 220 lbs. Norm Judd, M1 198, set 2 American records with a 347 bench and a 492 dead in Unequipped Powerlifting. Gary Clock set theAmerican deadlift, 513 & total 955 in M2 powersports @198 lbs. Even without some of the Magic City Muscle team, John Apland, Bill Matus, Linda Abel, and Kurt Weaver,due to injury and other commitments, we are looking forward to bigger and better things in the future. CanAm is in Oct 6. Next is viva Las Vegas in June! Can't wait! Special thanks go to all of the helpers that make the meet possible. Doreen, Colleen, and Jennifer were great.
